Thomas Bandy heads up the Investigative Services & Counter Terrorism Division of
Pexis. Among other activities, this Division is concerned with both Business Espionage
and Countermeasures for protecting businesses against Industrial Espionage. This
Division also conducts World-Wide Due Diligence for companies wanting to learn more
about future joint venture partners, merger candidates, or key executives. Security
Surveys, Threat Assessments, Pre-Employment Background Investigations, Fraud &
Theft Investigations, Support for Civil Litigation, Skip Tracing and Asset Searches are
also handled out of this Division.
Mr. Bandy's background includes early work as a Research Scholar at UCLA's Center
for Medieval and Renaissance Studies followed by a distinguished 25 year career in the
Clandestine Services of the CIA, serving in Europe and Latin America where he worked
closely with the Intelligence Services and Law Enforcement Agencies of various Latin
American Countries.
Mr. Bandy retired from the Agency in 2001 and is recognized as one of the CIA's
leading Anti-Terrorism and Counter-Terrorism experts. Mr. Bandy also has extensive
experience in clandestine training, including trade craft, covert communications,
intelligence collection and reporting and covert operations.
